Description
We supply container tie down kits for containers that are land-based and has a soil surrounding.
These kits provide a secure tie down for loads that are wind impacted.
The kits are very easy to install and setup. These kits have superior pull-out resistance and dependability.
Features
Each Tie Down Kit contains 1 of each of the below items:
• Anchor head (4 each), arrow type, aluminum alloy casting (high strength) with wire rope assembly secured to anchor head
• Wire rope clips (12 each), U-bolt clamp with nuts to secure cable to attachment point
• Drive rod (1 each) and slide hammer (1 each) to install arrow head anchor to proper depth and web ratchet device (1 each) come-along to set anchor head after install
The kits are manufactured using high strength, heat treated aluminum alloy casting and a galvanized IWRC wire rope assembly, with a 9.5mm diameter and a maximum breaking strength of 14,400 lbs/6.5 Ton.
How to install these container tie down units.

- Figure 1: Slide drive rod over drive shaft of anchor and apply force to end of drive rod with slide hammer to install anchor head to proper depth (5’) and install at the same angle your wire assembly is positioned so line of pull is the same.
- Figure 2: Drive to proper depth then remove the drive rod from the drive shaft on anchor
- Figure 3: Attach ratchet to upper corner fitting and end loop of wire assembly. Apply tension to set the anchor with ratchet until cable take up has exceeded 2” (min) to 6” (max). This will rotate the anchor into position to allow the tension force to be distributed into the soil.
