Description
These Standard Double Trailer Locks are an industry standard twist lock used by the trucking industry to allow flatbed trailers to accommodate ISO shipping containers.
A double trailer lock works in conjunction with single trailer locks when the trailer is intended to be used to transport 2 x 6m containers.
In the event of the core being damaged, it can be replaced easily with the removal of the galvanised bolt and nut.
The Standard Double Trailer Locks are normally welded through the deck of the trailer. They have the advantage of being retractable when not in used. When in the up position, the unit acts as a guide for the container for when it is being loaded. Once the container has landed, the handle is turned for the upper section to turn and lock the container into position

Although not very common, this unit is available in a short handle variation.
The material of construction does allow for the easy replacement of handle, should the need arise.
